MUSIC FOR NOVEMBER 16, 2008
Even though there were more people in the congregation on Sunday, there were fewer people in the Choir in both services, but we were mighty. You all did an exceptionally good job on “We Cry Holy” this past Sunday. I want to thank all of you for singing. This Sunday we will be singing “Give Thanks” in both services. Our effectiveness as a Choir depends on your participation, so I hope and pray that we will have a good number of people in both services. As always we meet at 8:00 am in the Choir room for the early service and again by 10:30 for the second service.
Evette Eickelmann and Briana Key will be singing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 8:15 service. The singers will be Cindy Muschany, Evette Eickelmann, Kathy Perry, and Rick Matthiesen.
Choir Rehearsal will be at 5:30 pm.
Praise Team Rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm with Sharon D., Nancy L., Kathy P., and Bradley P. in attendance.
CHRISTMAS EVE CELEBRATION
Come sing with us in our annual Christmas Eve Celebration. You still have time 3 rehearsals left in November, and 6 rehearsals left in December, so it’s not to late for You to get involved. Our Christmas Eve celebration takes place on December 24 at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm with a light supper provided in between the two programs for program participants and there families. We will wear Choir robes during the programs. The dress rehearsal is on Sunday evening December 21 at 5:30 pm. All other rehearsals are on Sunday evenings at 5:30 and on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. Rehearsals will be cancelled on Wednesday, November 26 and on Sunday, November 30.
