MUSIC FOR SUNDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2008
What a great time of worship we had last Sunday when we observed the Lord’s Supper. It was wonderful to step back and remember and reflect on what the Lord did for us. This Sunday the Choir will be singing “These Things Are True of You” in both services. Again we really need more participation in both services, but especially the early service. Please continue to pray about your level of involvement, and then do whatever the Lord leads you to do. We will meet in the Choir room at 8:00 am for the 8:15 service and again at 10:30 am for the 10:45 service. I really do appreciate each and everyone of you and thank you for your time and effort. Don’t forget to set your clocks back 1 hour this Saturday evening before you go to bed.
Christie Jones will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service. The singers will be Linda Magruder, Christie Jones, Rick Matthiesen, and Bradley Perry.
Choir Rehearsal will be at 5:30 pm
Praise Team rehearsal will be at 7:00 om with Kalyn C., Erica T., Kathy Perry and Bradley Perry.
CHRISTMAS EVE CELEBRATION
If you are going to participate in the Christmas program, you will need to attend two rehearsals during the month of November and two in December plus the Dress rehearsal on December 21 at 5:30. Sunday evening rehearsals are at 5:30 and Wednesday rehearsals will begin at 6:30 on November 5. We currently have 40 people who have committed to participating in this event. Thank you all for the work in recruiting. Our Christmas Eve Celebration will be on Wednesday December 24 (Christmas Eve) at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm with a light Dinner provided in between programs for program participants and their families.
WEDNESDAY REHEARSALS
In order to help us better prepare for the Christmas program, we will be adding Wednesday rehearsals beginning on November 5 at 6:3o-7:30 pm. These rehearsals will be dedicated solely to the preparation of the Christmas program. We will still continue rehearsing the Christmas program on Sunday evenings at 5:30 for the first 45 minutes of rehearsal. We would love it if those participating in the Christmas program would stay for the entire Sunday evening rehearsal and help us out on our Sunday Morning Music, and then sing with us on Sunday morning during the time you are singing with us. Please pray about doing this and then do whatever the Lord leads you to do. We would appreciate your help.
