MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, JULY 13, 2008
This is V.B.S. Kick-off Sunday, so the choir will not be singing in either service, and there will be no rehearsals due to V.B.S. preparations in the evening. I hope all of you are enjoying the long break. All rehearsals will resume on Sunday evening, July 20 at 6:00 pm for Choir and 7:00 pm for praise team.
Kendall Tanner will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano in the 10:45 service.
Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in both services.
No rehearsals this evening due to V.B.S. Preparations
CHOIR PARTY
It’s time to celebrate!!! We will be having a choir party on Friday evening, July 18 at 6:30 pm at the home of Ted and Nancy Logan. Bring your favorite flavor of homemade ice cream, or something to go with ice cream, or your favorite summer treat, like water melon, fried chicken or Chocolate pie. Those are just a few of my favorite summer treats, okay, I like them all year round, but you bring what you like. The party is for the entire family, even your spouse and children. There will be a variety of things to do, or you can just fellowship. To get to Ted and Nancy’s just take highway 185 South and go 10 miles, about a mile past Brown’s store on the right, go until you see a split rail fence and then turn left when you see the balloons. Please R.S.V.P. at 468-5810. Remember if you’ve been involved in any way in the music ministry this year, you are invited to this party, even if you just sang one time.
