MUSIC FOR SUNDAY MAY 11
This Sunday is Mother’s Day and it is also a BIG MUSIC SUNDAY, which means that EVERYONE SINGS IN BOTH SERVICES. To help make this day special for the Women and Mothers that will be with us on Sunday I need all of you to sing in both services. We will be singing the song “You Call Me Yours” from the Easter program, so a lot of people know it. If you sang in the Easter program please come and sing with us. Please be in the choir room by 8:00 am for the early service and again at 10:30 for the 10:45 service. If you haven’t been to choir in a while and need to refresh the song in your memory we will be having choir rehearsal tomorrow evening, Wednesday May 7 at 6:00 pm. Looking forward to a great day of worship and celebration with you on Sunday.
The Ladies Trio 2 will be singing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in both services.
The Praise Team will sing in both services, the singers will be Cindy M., Evette E., Rick M., and Bradley P.
In honor of Mother’s Day there will be no rehearsals this Sunday evening. A make-up rehearsal has been scheduled for Wednesday May 14 at 6:00 pm. The Praise Team will not rehearse this week but Linda M., Christie J., Kathy P., and Bradley P., will sing without rehearsing on Sunday, May 18.
BIG MUSIC SUNDAY
This Sunday, Mother’s Day, May 11 is a BIG MUSIC SUNDAY. This is when everybody sings in both services to help make the services more special. Other BIG MUSIC SUNDAYS that we have scheduled will be on Sunday, June 15 (Father’s Day) and of Course on June 29th when we present our Patriotic program. Please mark your calendars and plan to be here on these BIG MUSIC SUNDAYS.
PATRIOTIC PROGRAM
Work begins on our Patriotic Presentation tomorrow, Wednesday May 7 at 6:00 pm. I hope all of you will plan on being a part of this special time of Worship and celebration. There will be 3 solo opportunities in the program. The first on is on the song “Break our Hearts” that we have sung before. The second will be on the song “God Bless America”, and the third one is a stand alone solo, that if interested you may pick yourself, as long as it is a Christian Patriotic song. I will be making solo assignments Sunday, June 1 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, and then again on Wednesday June 4 at 6:00 pm. If you can’t come and sing for me during one of these times just let me know and I will schedule a time just for you.

Wednesday, May 14- Make-up Choir Rehearsal 6:00 pm- The praise team will not practice this week, but Linda M. Christie J., Kathy P., and Bradley P., will sing Sunday May 18 without Rehearsing.
Sunday, May 18- Choir Rehearsal 6:00 pm and Praise Team at 7:00 pm with Kalyn C., Erica T., Rick M. and Bradley P. in attendance.
Sunday, May 25- Memorial Day Weekend, No rehearsals
Wednesday, May 28- Make-up Choir rehearsal. The Praise Team will not practice this week but Cindy M., Evette E., Kathy P., and Bradley P. will sing on Sunday June 1 without rehearsing.
