MUSIC FOR APRIL 27, 2008
What a great time of worship we had this past Sunday. I thought all the music was just great, and the choir special was no exception. I praise God that he works through us to bring glory to His name when we lead in worship. This Sunday the Choir will be singing “You Are Holy” from the Easter program in both services. As always please be in the Choir room by 8:00 am for the early service and again at 10:30 for the second service. Also if you know the song you are welcome to sing it with us, just be in the choir room at one of those times.
Erica Turilli will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano in the 10:45 service, the keyboard player will be announced later.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service, The singers will be Kalyn C., Erica T., Kathy P and Bradley P.
Choir Practice will be at 6:00 pm
Praise Team rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm Sharon D., Nancy L., Kathy P., and Bradley P. in attendance.
SCHEDULE CHANGE
On Sunday evening on May 4, Norm Howell will be here from the Missouri Baptist Convention, speaking about their involvement in El Salvador Partnership missions. We won’t have any rehearsals that evening. Because we are canceling that rehearsal we will schedule a make-up Choir rehearsal on the following Wednesday evening May 7 at 6:00 pm. Please mark your calendars and be at this rehearsal. The following Sunday is Mother’s Day, and we will need to work on our special.
PATRIOTIC CELEBRATION
Mark June 29 on your calendars, this is the date that we will present our annual Patriotic Service. We will begin working on the music in May. We will not need any extra rehearsals. All rehearsals will be Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm.
