MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2008
You all did a great Job leading in worship this past Sunday, even though we hadn’t rehearsed the worship set, your love for the Lord and your desire to lead his people to his thrown in worship was evident. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate all of your participation in this ministry. It is a God sized task to lead people in worship, something that is bigger than we are, and that we can’t accomplish unless we are willing to step aside and let God take control, and every week you do that, thank you for being willing to be used by God to accomplish his purposes in this place. I know how busy most of you are and I really am grateful that you all take time out of your schedules to participate in this ministry. This Sunday we will sing “Get Out of The Boat” in both services. Please be in the Choir room by 8:00 am for the first services and again by 10:30 am for the second.
Evette Eickelmann will sing the vocal praise in both services
Jean Lueken will play the piano and Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play th keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service. The singers will be Cindy Muschany, Evette Eickelmann, Rick Matthiesen, and Bradley Perry.
“Closer” will be in concert in the evening at 6:00 pm.
No Choir Rehearsal
No Praise Team Rehearsal, however Sharon Doyle, Nancy Logan, Kathy and Bradley Perry will still sing without rehearsing on the 17th.
CLOSER IN CONCERT
Missouri Baptist Universities Gospel Quartet “Closer” will be in concert here at the Church at 6:00 pm this Sunday evening, February 10. Justin Fallon, son of Mark and Susan, grandson of Louis and Dona is the tenor in this group. So invite everyone you know and come be a part of this evening of Music.
EASTER PROGRAM
Preparations are moving right along for the Easter program. I have already heard one group of people interested in the solos this last Sunday evening and will listen to another group this Wednesday evening at 5:30. We have already begun extending our Sunday evening rehearsals which now begin at 5:30 and last until 7:00, Easter music will be rehearsed first and then all the other music last. Wednesday rehearsals have been added and will begin tomorrow February 6 at 6:00 pm and will dedicated solely to he Easter program. It’s not to late for you to be involved. Begin attending two rehearsals a month, we would love to have you.
