MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2007
Sunday’s services were really fun. Leading our Church into the Christmas season with all the Christmas songs was great. Several people have told me that it really put them in the Christmas spirit. This week the Choir will be singing “Carol of the Bells” in both services. Please be in the Choir room by 8:00 am for the first service, and again by 10:30 for the second service. Thanks again for your hard work and dedication.
Evette Eickelmann will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service, the singers will be Linda M., Christy J., Kathy P, and Bradley P.
Choir rehearsal will be at 5:30 pm.
Praise Team rehearsal will be 7:00 pm with Kendall T., Erica T., Kathy P., and Bradley P.
CHRISTMAS EVE CELEBRATION
We are on the down hill slide for the Christmas Eve Celebration. Things are progressing quite nicely, however we still need to attend as many rehearsals as possible between now and Christmas Ever. Sunday evening rehearsals are starting at 5:30 pm. We are also having Wednesday rehearsals beginning at 6:00 pm. The Dress rehearsal is scheduled for Sunday evening December 23 at 5:30 pm. Please make every effort to attend as many of these rehearsals as possible.
ROBE ASSIGNMENTS
If you have not been fitted for a choir robe, or need a different robe for some reason, please see Kathy Perry as soon as possible. We will be wearing choir robes during the Christmas Program and everyone will need to be fitted for one. Also please inspect your robe and if yours needs to be cleaned for any reason, for example make-up on the collar, it stinks, dirt or stains on the robe etc… please give your robe to Nancy Logan by December 9.
