MUSIC FOR SUNDAY OCTOBER 7, 2007
We had a great time of worship last Sunday when we remembered what Jesus did for us by observing the Lord’s Supper. This week the Choir will sing “He will Carry You” in both services. Please be in the Choir room by 8:00 am for the early service and again at 10:30 am for the 10:45 service.
Craig Tanner will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing and play in the 10:45 service only. The singers will be Linda Magruder, Christy Jones, Kathy and Bradley Perry.
Choir rehearsal will be at 5:30 pm.
Praise Team rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm with Kalyn Center, Erica Turilli, Kathy and Bradley Perry in attendance.
CHRISTMAS EVE CELEBRATION
It’s not to late to be in the Christmas Eve program this year. All you have to do is begin attending two rehearsals a month starting in October. Rehearsals are at 5:30 and we will rehearse the Christmas music at the beginning of rehearsal. This year I would like everyone who sings with us to remain for the entire rehearsal and to help us out on our Sunday morning music if at all possible. I hope you will all participate. Let’s have 50 singers this year.
BONUS REHEARSALS
In order to help us better prepare for our Christmas program we will be adding 30 extra minutes to our Sunday evening rehearsals. We will now begin at 5:30 on Sunday evenings and remain on this schedule until after Christmas. This begins this Sunday, October 7, 2007. We will start Wednesday rehearsals on November 7, 2007 at 6:00 pm. Please attend as many rehearsals as possible between now and Christmas. As you know practice makes perfect, and then when you add the Lord’s blessing it’s out of this world.
