MUSIC FOR SEPTEMBER 30, 2007
What a fantastic job on “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” this past Sunday. It was a powerful proclamation of the power of the name of Jesus. We just have to speak his name and strongholds fall, the weary get rest, what a fantastic testimony. This Sunday the choir will not be singing in either service, due to the Lord’s Supper plans. It is also 5th Sunday dinner day, so remember to bring a vegetable and a dessert and stay for lunch. All evening services have been cancelled including our rehearsals. We will have a make-up choir rehearsal on Wednesday, October 3 at 6:00 pm.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in both services this week.
The praise team will sing in both services. The singers will be Sharon Doyle, Nancy Logan, Kathy and Bradley Perry.
There will be no Choir rehearsal this evening, however a make-up rehearsal has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 3 at 6:00 pm.
There will be no Praise Team rehearsal this week. Linda Magruder, Christy Jones, Kathy and Bradley Perry will still sing on October 7 without rehearsing.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Preparations for this years Christmas Eve Celebration is progressing nicely. You can still be involved by beginning to attend at least two rehearsals a month beginning in October. I would love to have at least 50 people singing this year, so I would ask that everyone that receives this newsletter if you are not already planning on participating, prayfully consider singing in this years program. Those who do in spite of all the hard work are always blessed for having been a part. This years program as always will be on December 24 at 5:00 and 7:00 pm with a light supper for program participants and their families at 6:00 pm.
BONUS REHEARSALS
In order to help us better prepare for our Christmas Eve celebration we will begin having bonus rehearsals in October. Sunday evening rehearsals from Oct. 7 through Dec. 23 will now start at 5:30 pm. We will begin having Wednesday rehearsals on November 7 and they will continue through December 19, they will be at 6:00 pm every Wednesday. The final dress rehearsal will be Sunday evening December 23. Since we will already be used to starting at 5:30 pm that’s when we will begin the dress rehearsal. Mark your calendars so you will be at the right place at the right time.
