MUSIC FOR AUGUST 26, 2007
What a time of worship we had in both services this past Sunday, everything went so well and your singing was wonderful, not just on the choir special, but on everything. I could really hear you taking the lead, harmonizing on the worship music, singing out with boldness and clarity. This week the Choir will sing “Shoutin’ Time” in both services. Please be in the Choir room at 8:00 am for the early service and again at 10:30 am for the second service. Thank you for serving the Lord!
The Ladies Trio will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano (welcome back Kathy!) and Jean Lueken will play the Keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service. The singers will be Cindy Muschany, Erica Turilli, Kathy and Bradley Perry.
The Choir will rehearse at 6:00 pm
The Praise Team will practice at 7:00 pm with Sharon Doyle, Nancy Logan, Kathy and Bradley Perry in attendance.
CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST
This Saturday August 25 at 6:30 pm we will be celebrating Christmas in August in the fellowship hall. During this time we will preview this years Christmas program or watch last years program or watch a classic Christmas movie or just fellowship. Child care will be provided, so if you are interested in singing in this years Christmas program, bring your favorite Christmas snack and come celebrate Christmas in August.
REVIVAL
This year our church will be having revival on September 9-12. The meetings will be held on Sunday morning 8:00 am and 10:45 am as well at Sunday through Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm with Lunch meetings from 12:00-1:00 Monday through Wednesday. We do not have any responsibilities during these services so use this time for your own spiritual growth and renewal by attending as many of these services as possible.
OPEN CHOIR REHEARSAL
We will be having an open Choir rehearsal on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm in the Choir room. If you know of someone interested in singing in the choir, but they wonder what it will be like, or if you know of someone who loves music, sings well, or can just carry a tune, and has a heart to Worship, then this is the time to invite them to come. They can experience what it will be like to be in choir with no obligation. If you are a person interested in this ministry you don’t even need to be invited, just show up. You don’t even have to wait for the Open Choir rehearsal, because you’re invited anytime.
