MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 5, 2007
Great job last Sunday on “Softly and Tenderly”. This week we will be singing “The Potter’s Hand” in both services. Please be in the Choir room at 8:00 am for the early service and at 10:30 for the second service, and please sing in both services if at all possible.
Linda Magruder will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Jean Lueken will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service. The singers will be Linda Magruder and Nancy Logan.
The Final Authority Concert will be Sunday evening at 6:00 pm
There will be no Choir rehersal a make-up rehearsal will be held on Wednesday evening August 8 at 6:00 pm.
No Praise Team rehearsal this evening, but Sharon Doyle, Christy Jones, Kathy Perry and Bradley Perry will still sing on August 12 without rehearsing.
DON’T FORGET
Don’t forget to be here this Thursday evening at 6:30 for the Truckers Christian Chapel Ministry Conference. We will be singing 4 songs that we have sung before in the not to distant past so you can still sing even if you haven’t been able to attend rehearsal lately. The songs will be “Shoutin Time”, “Sweeter As The Days Go By”, “The Sweetest Song I Know”, and “Let The River Flow”. We will be the first group to sing. We will probably be done by 7:15 at which time I will dismiss you from the Choir loft and you can leave or stay for the program. You will enjoy this night of Gospel music. We really need to have a good turn out since we are hosting this event. Please make every effort to attend and participate, I appreciate in advance the extra time and effort that you will all have to put forth to do this event.
DON’T FORGET THE FINAL AUTHORITY CONCERT THIS SUNDAY EVENING AUGUST 5TH AT 6:00 PM.
