“Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous ones; praises from the upright is beautiful. Praise the Lord with the lyre; make music to Him with a ten-stringed harp. Sing a new song to Him; play skillfully on the strings, with a joyful shout. for the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is trustworthy. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the Lord’s unfailing love. ” (Psalm 33:1-5)
THANKS FOR YOUR WORK
The patriotic celebration was great. You sang beautifully. Our congregation was really moved. Several have commented on how Fanny J. Crosby’s story encouraged them to live better, others were moved by the narration or the other patriotic music. The important thing is they were moved to a closer walk with God. If you think our ministry is not important think again, this is what we are all about, this is what we want these programs to do, to move people into a deeper relationship with God. Thank you for being willing to let God use you in this way. All glory and honor goes to our Lord.

CHOIR CYCLE AT A GLANCE
We just completed A full choir cycle. One that began in August and ended in July. During this cycle we did three major presentations including Christmas, Easter, and Patriotic Presentations. We also participated in the Franklyn County Baptist Association Mission Rally, as well as the Whatever it Takes Fund Raiser. We sponsored a child during World Visions 30 Hour Famine, as well as partially sponsoring a teen for the Youth Mfuge mission trip. We have also as a ministry sent countless cards of encouragement to our members for birthdays, illnesses, and also during times of loss. We have also sent flowers and food to funerals services and dinners during times of loss for our members. This doesn’t even count the hours of rehearsal, and the worship services that you sing in and attend each week. Thank you for your time, talents, resources, prayers and support as we continue to mirror God’s love to our church, community, association, each other and the world.
CHOIR PARTY
There will be a Choir Party at the Aldridge home on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 7:00 pm. We are going to celebrate the Lord bringing us through the cycle of ministry that we have just completed. We are just going to kick back and relax. Bring your favorite board games, movies, drinks and snacks, as well as your spouses and children. The Party will take place inside and out so if you have outdoor games you want to play bring those too. We have a trampoline and pool for your children. If you don’t want to do any of that stuff just come and visit and fellowship. The point is to just celebrate the goodness of God, I hope to see you there.
