“Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body.” (1st Corinthians 6:19-20)

LAST SUNDAYS MUSIC

I am continually amazed how God works through us, and how he answers prayer. Last Sunday we sang with only 14 people in the early service choir and not much more than that in the second service. As you know I was very concerned, but decided to go ahead and sing anyway, and you know what? God sang through us, he magnified our efforts. It sounded like we had 40 people singing, and it sounded great. Your Worship Pastor learned a lesson in trusting God on Sunday. Let’s all thank God for the gentle reminder that he is sufficient for any need that might arise, and thank you all for being available for him to use.

MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, MAY 13, 2007

This Sunday the Choir will be singing “What Kind of King?” from the Easter program in both services. Since it is Mother’s Day, I hope you will all make a special effort to attend and participate in Choir in both services. Large Choirs make these special days seem even more special. In honor of Mother’s Day all evening activities will be cancelled so you can spend time with your families. This means that we will not have Choir Rehearsal or Praise Team rehearsal either. We will have a make-up choir rehearsal on Wednesday, May 16 at 6:00 pm. We will not have a praise team rehearsal this week, but the Praise Team will still sing without rehearsing on May 20.

Evan Aldridge will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.

Virgie McGill will play the piano and Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.

Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.

The Praise team will sing in the 10:45 service. The Singers will be Sharon Doyle,  Nancy Logan, Kathy and Bradley Perry.

There will be no Choir rehearsal this evening, however a make-up Choir rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday, May 16 at 6:00 pm.

There will be no Praise Team rehearsal this evening and we will not have a make-up rehearsal. The Singers for May 20 will sing without rehearsing on that day. The singers for May 20 will be Linda Magruder, Christy Jones, Don Smith and Bradley Perry.

PATRIOTIC PROGRAM

It is still not to late to be involved in the Patriotic Celebration that we will be doing on July 1 in both services. Just begin attending two rehearsals a month starting this month and you are in. All are welcome to participate. Rehearsals are normally on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, however at times we have to move them to Wednesdays at 6:00 for special holidays, so just watch the bulletins and the announcements slides on Sunday mornings, or go to our website at www.templebaptistonline.com, or www.tbcsullivan.com and go to the music/worship pages and you will find the most up to date schedule changes.
