“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek. For in it God’s righteousness is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)

WELCOME BACK CHOIR AND PRAISE TEAM YOU WERE MISSED!!!!

MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, APRIL 29, 2007

Welcome back everyone, I hope you enjoyed your break. I missed you all so much, it gets kind of lonely on that big stage without you all behind me. We had a good turn out for our first rehearsal back after our break, even though many of you were not there. Keep up the good work, and know that you are missed when you are gone. This Sunday the Choir will be singing “Beatitudes” in both services. We do need to have a good group in both services, so please make every effort to be present. Your participation in both services if at all possible is much appreciated. We would love to have all those that were involved in the Easter program to sing also.

Erica Turilli will sing the Vocal Praise in both service.

Mable Brown will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.

Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.

The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service. The singers will be Kalyn Center, Erica Turilli, Kathy and Bradley Perry

CHALLENGE TO BUILD BANQUET

This Sunday evening will be our challenge to build banquet at 6:00 pm. You will need to schedule your own child care for this event. As leaders in our Church I hope that you will lead the way and set an example for our whole Church and attend the banquet and prayerfully consider giving to the Challenge to Build fund raising campaign, even if it’s a small amount. When your small amount is added to everyone elses we discover that our little bit becomes a lot. Remember it’s not the amount that counts but the attitude of your heart that counts. Anyway because of the banquet all rehearsals will be cancelled. We will have a make-up rehearsal on Wednesday, May 2.

PATRIOTIC PROGRAM

We previewed our Patriotic Program this past Sunday evening at Choir rehearsal, and we will begin work on the program on Wednesday, May 2. We will rehearse the program from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm, and then work on our Sunday music from 6:30 to 7:00. I hope you will all be a part of our program. This year the program will be on July 1, in both services. Please begin now to pray for the program and to make plans to participate. Your support is much appreciated.

“Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spriritual worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2)
