“For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden, because whatever has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith. And who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” (1st John 5:3-5)

EASTER PROGRAM

The Easter program was great! I have had more positive comments on this one than any other. One of the best comments came from my wife Audra. She said the choir sounded brighter than ever before. She didn’t mean tonal quality, she meant in attitude, the way you were singing, what was in your hearts was coming through in your voices. You were really worship leaders on Sunday. You proclaimed the message of Jesus Christ boldly. I am so grateful to everyone that participated. Everything worked together to proclaim the hope and glory of the Lord. The Sound, the media, the set design, the solos, the choir, the narrators, costumes, drama, God pulled everything together and made it into something that we could not of done ourselves. All the glory and honor goes to him. It is a privilege to work along side each one of you for the cause of Christ, may His kingdom be advanced.

The praise team will not be singing in either service.

There will be no Praise Team rehearsal this evening. Praise Team rehearsal will resume at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening April 22.

PATRIOTIC PROGRAM

The next thing we will be working toward is our annual patriotic celebration that we will present on July 1. I am calling it “Our Heritage of Faith” for lack of a better title. It will be a time where we Celebrate our country, honor our Veterans and explore and celebrate the rich heritage of faith that our country was founded upon. I hope you will all make plans to participate and sing with us. We will begin work on this program at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening April 22. As always we will work the program the fist part of rehearsal and the regular Sunday morning music the second part of rehearsal.

” This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us: He has given to us from His Spirit. And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the World. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God- God remains in him and he in God. And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.” (1st John 4:13-16)
