“Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.” (Romans 12:1)

MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 4

What a great job you did last Sunday on the song “Evermore”. You sang with energy, and most importantly you sang from the heart. This week we will be singing “Marching to Zion” in both services. Please make every effort to attend. This is a difficult song and we need all the help we can get. As always we will meet in the Choir room at 8:00 am for the early service and again at 10:30 am for the second service. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication. I appreciate each one of you more than words can possibly say.

The Ladies Trio will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.

Mable Brown will play the piano and Kathy Perry will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.

Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.

The Praise team will sing in the 10:45 service only. The singers will be Kalyn Center, Erica Turilli, Kathy Perry and Bradley Perry

Choir Practice will be at 5:30 pm

Praise Team rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm. The singers who need to attend are Cindy Muschany, Evette Eickelmann, Don Smith and Bradley Perry.

Wednesday Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, March 7 at 6:00 pm.

30 HOUR FAMINE

Thank you for your donations to the Choir fund. This month we were able to sponsor a child in World Visions 30 hour famine. Because of your donations we are able to reach out to each other, and now around the world to help a child in need.

WHATEVER IT TAKES

The “Whatever It Takes” fund raiser to help children in the Sullivan area has moved from Saturday, March 30 to Saturday March 24. We will be participating in a community wide Choir to help raise money for a fund that helps to cover, medical bills, dental expenses, school supplies, clothing, pretty much as the name suggest whatever it takes to help children in the Sullivan, Spring Bluff, and Strain-Japan school districts. This fundraiser was begun by our own Glen Carter. His group “Final Authority”, as well as myself and other people and groups from the sullivan area will be participating in addition to the community wide Choir. Choir practice begins at 4:00 pm at the Sullivan performing Arts Theater on March 24. This is an opportunity for all of us to reach out to children and families in our community using the gifts that God has given us. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to share God’s love.

EASTER REHEARSALS

In addition to our 5:30 Sunday evening rehearsals we will be adding Wednesday rehearsals beginning on Wednesday, March 7 at 6:00 pm. Wednesday rehearsals will be dedicated solely to working on the Easter program. The Dress rehearsal for the program is scheduled for Wednesday, April 4 at 6:30 pm, all other Wednesday activities will be cancelled on this evening. Easter is on April 8 this year. We will be presenting the program twice on Easter Sunday, once at 8:00 am and again at 10:45 am. Please mark your calendars and attend as many rehearsals as possible between now and Easter.

“Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” (Colossians 2:6-7)
