“If I speak the languages of men and of angels, but do not have love, I am a sounding gong, or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so that I can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” (1st Corinthians 1-3)

30 HOUR FAMINE

Last Sunday evening the Choir voted to sponsor a Child in the upcoming 30 hour famine. The cost is 30 dollars and it will be taken from the Choir Fund. This is a perfect way for us to reach out beyond ourselves and the walls of our Church to help a child in need.

EASTER PROGRAM

Come join the Easter Choir! All you have to do is begin attending two rehearsals a month beginning this month. Hope to see you in Choir at 5:30 pm on Sunday evenings.

STRESS

Many of you have come to me telling me how stressed you are with your life and that stress is keeping you from being as active in choir as you would like to be. It is my prayer that Choir is never a source of stress, but a relief for stress. The Lord knows everything that is going on in your life. He only requires your best. We all know that sometimes our best is different each week, because of varying factors in our lives. God is aware of all those varying factors, and he is also aware of the attitude of your heart. It is through the attitude of your heart that we give him our best efforts. So just turn it all over to him, and let him work through you each week. Come to choir, enjoy the music, give your best while you’re here, let the message of the music relieve your stress and minister to you. Just relax and enjoy the ride.

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God”. (1st Corinthians 10:31)
