MUSIC FOR SEPTEMBER 17, 2006
My what a great time we had in Worship this past Sunday, you proclaimed the message that Jesus is the only haven for our souls so brilliantly, and you led our Church in Worship so wonderfully, I appreciate your time, dedication, hard work, effort, and availability. These are all things that God needs to be able to work through us, and he is working through each one of you so obviously as we live out his calling to be worship leaders together.
This week the choir will remind our church family why we are here when we sing “We’re Here to Worship” in both services. If at all possible please sing in both services. We will meet in the Choir room at 8:00 am for the first service and at 10:30 am for the second. I can’t wait to hear you sing again and to see how God will use us this week.
Nancy Logan will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service only. The Praise Team Singers will be Linda Magruder-Soprano, Christy Jones-Alto, Kathy Perry-Tenor, and Bradley Perry-Bass.
Choir Practice will be at 6:00 pm in the Choir Room, Praise Team will meet at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium.
CHRISTMAS CHOIR REHEARSALS BEGIN
Rehearsals for this years Christmas program “Christmas Is Forever” began last Sunday evening at 6:00 pm. It’s still not to late for you to be involved, everyone is welcome to participate. Rehearsals will be every Sunday evening at 6:00 pm and of course as the preparations progress extra rehearsals will be added as needed. We do ask that if you are going to participate that you will begin attending at least two rehearsals a month beginning no later than October.
MEMBER ACTIVITIES
If you are involved in any activities we want to know so that we can make our members aware and support you in your endeavors, after all that’s what families do and we are a family. Please call Evan at 468-8044 ext. 3 or email him at evan@tbcsullivan.com to let him know so that those events can be published in this newsletter.
CHOIR SPECIALS
The Choir will be repeating some of the music we have sung over the past few years, during the next few months. If there is a song that you would like to hear again, call Evan at 468-8044 ext. 3 or email him at evan@tbcsullivan.com, or you could even drop a note in the music ministry suggestion box just inside the Choir room door. Don’t worry if you can’t remember the title, maybe you can remember some of the words, I can usually figure out what song you are talking about from that. I look forward to seeing which songs you choose.
