FATHER’S DAY

This Sunday, June 18, 2006 is Father’s Day, The ladies have been working diligently to prepare a song to sing. Ladies, it’s not to late to get involved. We have one more rehearsal, this Wednesday evening, June 14 at 6:30. Come be a part of the special Chorus and help honor the Men and the Father’s on their special day.

MUSIC FOR SUNDAY JUNE 18, 2006.

This Sunday the Ladies Chorus will sing “We Trust in the Name of the Lord” in both services. Men enjoy your day off. Ladies, please be in the Choir room at 8:00 am, and plan on singing in both services. You will be dismissed from the Choir loft after we sing in both services so that you can sit with your families. In order to provide you with as much family time as possible, we will not be having any Sunday evening activities or rehearsals. Because of this we will need to have a make-up rehearsal on Wednesday evening, June 21, at 6:00 pm. The rehearsal on Sunday evening, June 25 will begin at 5:30, and the dress rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening June 28, 2006 

Mable Brown will play the piano and Kathy Perry will play the Keyboard in the 8:15 service.

Kathy Perry will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the Keyboard in the 10:45 service.

The Ladies Trio will sing the vocal praise in Both services.

The Praise Team will also sing in both services.

PATRIOTIC PROGRAM

We are now preparing for our annual patriotic program, to be presented on Sunday, July 2, 2006 in both services. All are welcome to participate. Rehearsals are Sunday Evenings at 6:00 pm, except for three exceptions. There will be no rehearsal on June 18, 2006 due to Father’s Day weekend. Therefore we will have a make-up rehearsal on Wednesday, June 21 at 6:00 pm. The rehearsal on Sunday evening, June 25 will begin at 5:30, and the dress rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening June 28. We will be wearing red, white or blue, or any combination of those three colors for the program.

MUSIC COMMITTEE MEETING

There will be a music committee meeting on Wednesday evening June 28, 2006 at 6:00 pm. Your music committee members are Kelly Browning, Nancy Logan, Kathy Perry, Mike Delashmit, and Kermit Brown.

JUNE REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

June 14, 2006- Ladies Chorus rehearsal at 6:30 pm

June 18, 2006- No Rehearsal

June 21, 2006- Make-up Rehearsal at 6:00 pm

June 25, 2006- Choir rehearsal begins at 5:30 pm

June 28, 2006- Music Committee Meeting 6:00 pm

June 28, 2006- Dress Rehearsal 7:00 pm

July 2, 2006- Patriotic Program 8:15 and 10:45 am
