JULY 3rd PATRIOTIC CELEBRATION
The July 3rd Patriotic Celebration was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who participated in the program. Whether you actually sang or just prayed and attended. Everyone who was there really received a blessing.
MUSIC COMMITTEE
In last months newsletter you were informed that a Music Committee had been formed. The Formation of this committee put us in compliance with the Church Constitution, Bylaws and Operations manuel. This committee has been hard at work since May to produce some Music Ministry Participant Guidelines. Those Guidelines have been completed and you will receive a copy in the mail. Please read through them carefully and talk to the Music Minister if you have any questions, comments or concerns. We believe that all music ministry participants are Worship Leaders and need to set an example for our Church family and community. We believe that these guidelines will help us to do just that.
CHOIR REHEARSALS AND WORSHIP SERVICES
Just a reminder that through the Summer months both the 8:15 and 10:45 am Worship Choirs have combined and are singing in both services. This has really helped the quality of our Worship services. The extra effort is much appreciated. Please be here by 8:00 am every morning and plan on staying until around 11:15 am.
Choir rehearsals are back on our normal schedule which is 6:00 pm on Sunday evenings. However rehearsal is cancelled this coming Sunday, July 17, 2005 due to V.B.S. preparation. Choir practice will resume on Sunday evening July 24, 2005 at 6:00 pm.
