“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.” (2nd Timothy 2:15)
MUSIC FOR SUNDAY OCTOBER 19, 2008
Thanks to all of those who sang with us Sunday morning, the Lord’s presence was evident in the way you sang. This Sunday we will be singing “We’re Here To Worship” in both services. Please remember to pray about your involvement and participation level. I know that most of you are really doing all you can do, but maybe there are some who could increase their involvement, or maybe some who have gone inactive could become active. We could really use more involvement especially in the early service. Please seek God’s guidance and will for your life regarding this matter. If at all possible please sing in both services this Sunday. We meet in the Choir room at 8:00 am for the 8:15 service, and again at 10:3o for the 10:45 service. “Let brotherly love continue. Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it. Remember the prisoners, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily. Marriage must be respected by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, because God will judge immoral people and adulterers. Your life should be free from the love of money, Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you”. Therefore, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:1-6)
KALEB KRUEGER CONCERT
Last Sundays concert featuring Kaleb Krueger was great! I was completely blown away. Very seldom do you find such talent, Godly wisdom and boldness in anyone, let alone someone so young. God has truly blessed this young man, not only with great talent and ability, but with a message to proclaim. Everyone that was here truly received a blessing. This young man needs to be on all our prayer lists.

Kaleb Krueger will be in concert at 6:00 pm this Sunday evening, October 5. Kaleb is a gifted singer-songwriter and anointed worship leader with a tremendous love for his Savior, and an intense desire to glorify Him. Mature beyond his 19 years, Kaleb has been blessed with awesome opportunities to share his music at venues as large as Christian Family Day, Busch Stadium in St. Louis and Six Flags over Mid-America, and as intimate as the local coffee house. His songs have been honored at events like G.M.A. Music in the Rockies and by Focus on the Family. Kaleb’s deep love for people sparks an almost instant and lasting connection with audiences of all ages, and in settings ranging from powerful worship gatherings to energized youth rallies, one can expect to find this dynamic young artist sharing his heart from behind the piano or guitar, leading his listener in worship. I hope you will invite everyone you know to attend this special evening of worship and music. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek. For in it God’s righteousness is revealed from faith to faith, just as it is written: The righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)

“Now the end of all things is near; therefore, be clear-headed and disciplined for prayer. Above all, keep your love for one another at full strength, since love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Based on the gift they have received, everyone should use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God. If anyone speaks, his speech should be like the oracles of God; if anyone serves, his service should be from the strength God provides, so that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.” (1st Peter 4:7-11)
OPEN CHOIR REHEARSAL/FIRST CHRISTMAS PROGRAM REHEARSAL

Please welcome back Connie Henson, Joyce Baldwin, Kelly Krueger, Dave McMullin and Jeffrey Jones. I hope they are the first of many as we begin preparing for our 15th Anniversary Christmas Eve celebration.
