“And don’t be drunk with wine, which leads to reckless actions, but be filled with the spirit: speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music to the Lord in your heart, giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of Christ.” (Ephesians 5:18-21)

Thank you for a great job on “Give Thanks” last Sunday, My wife said that the Choir sounded especially good to her. She has had to listen to enough choirs in her lifetime that she should know, so we will take her word for it. Because of this I am asking all Choir members to sing in both services. Please be in the Choir room by 8:00 for the first service and again at 10:30 am for the second service, we will be singing “Great Is The Lord”, a great song and you all sound so good on it. Your willingness to take the extra time to serve the Lord is much appreciated.

MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2008

It was great to have you all back in worship this past Sunday. You sang the song “These Things Are True of You” very prayerfully and with great conviction. Thank you for your thoughtful interpretation of the song. This Sunday we will be singing “We Cry Holy” in both services. During our rehearsal everything always sounds so nice and full, but on Sunday mornings when we sing in the different services we don’t have as many people and it doesn’t sound the same. It still sounds fine, but I want the congregation to hear that same full nice sound that we have during rehearsals. If at all possible please sing in both services. We meet in the choir room at 8:00 am for the early service and at 10:30 for the second service. I look forward to seeing you there.
