MUSIC FOR SUNDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2008
What a great time of worship we had Sunday, you all sang “Rose of Bethlehem” beautifully. This Sunday we will be singing “Do You Hear What I Hear” in both services. We will need everyone who is participating in the Christmas program to sing in both services. We usually sit in the choir loft through the whole service during the 8:15 service but if you need to leave after we sing you are welcome to. After we sing in the 10:45 service everyone will be dismissed from the choir loft. Thanks in advance for the extra effort, this will help to get everyone excited about the Christmas program.
Nancy Logan will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Pam Hagan will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing and the Praise band will play in the 10:45 service. The singers are Sharon Doyle, Evette Eickelmann, Rick Matthiesen and Kathy Perry. The Praise Band players will be Bradley Perry on Guitar, J.D. Huitt on Bass and Craig Tanner on the Drums.
Dress Rehearsal for The Christmas Program will be at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium.

Great Job last Sunday on “Born Is The King”. Although we had a little problem in the first service, you still sang beautifully and strong and then we rallied and did it perfectly in the second service. Thanks for coming to proclaim the start of the Christmas season, I was encouraged by the number of people who were here to sing. This week we will be singing the beautiful song “Rose of Bethlehem”. Please, sing in both services if at all possible, we need to keep building momentum right up until Christmas eve.
Evan Aldridge will sing the Vocal Praise in both services.
Mable Brown will play the piano and Virgie McGill will play the keyboard in the 8:15 service.
Kathy Perry will play the piano and Jean Lueken will play the keyboard in the 10:45 service.
The Praise Team will sing in the 10:45 service. The singers will be Sharon Doyle, Nancy Logan, Kathy and Bradley Perry.
Choir Rehearsal will be at 5:30 pm.
Praise Team Rehearsal will be at 7:00 pm with Cindy Muschany, Evette Eickelmann, Rick Mattheisen and Bradley Perry in attendance.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday and break and refreshed, energized and ready to serve. This week the Choir will be singing “Born Is The King” in both services. Since this is our official kick-off of the Christmas season we need to have large groups in both services. Please sing in both if at all possible and be in the Choir room by 8:00 am for the 8:15 service and again at 10:30 for the 10:45 service.
The Ladies Trio 1 (Sharon Doyle, Nancy Logan and Kathy Perry will be singing the Vocal Praise in both services.
